What is Healthy Habits for Busy People?
Welcome friends. My name is Rich Krauss, and I'm the owner and sole operator of Healthy Habits for Busy People. Healthy Habits for Busy People is designed to give people who are always on the go, simple, easy, and effective ways to be and stay healthy.
But how is it different from any other health movement?
Healthy Habits for Busy People is centered around 3 core values:

I have been focused on healthy living for as long as I can remember. It started as a kid, just trying to do my best to compete in sports. As I grew older, I became more and more focused on being in the best physical shape I could be. I looked for guidance online and in health magazines. Everything I followed instructed to workout for X amount of time and track what I ate; and if I did, I could look like the bodybuilder or fitness model in the article.
But it became too much.
I didn't have the time to workout everyday for an hour. I didn't have the money to hire a trainer. And I didn't have the desire to do either. But it seemed to me that the only way to be fit was to put in the time and the money.
That thought is wrong.
First, the last place I wanted to be on a beautiful day was in a gym. I wanted to be outside; in the water; at the beach; in nature. I hated waiting on other people to use gym equipment, commuting to a gym, and bringing a change of clothes. I wanted to work out when I wanted, wearing what I wanted, and on my own time.
And when it came time to eating, I didn't want to spend time preparing a meal. When I wanted to eat, I wanted to eat immediately. And I wanted something healthy.
Most of all, I didn't want to spend all this time and money working out and cooking. Being healthy was taking a toll on my time and bank account.
So what did I do?
I quit the gym. I changed my diet. And I created new habits.
I focused my health on creating habits that were simple, fast, and inexpensive. Today I am spending less time exercising than I ever have, I spend less time preparing meals than in the past, and I'm in the best health of my life. Better yet, it's costing me less money than ever before.
Fast forward to today, and my new project: Healthy Habits for Busy People (HHBP). Healthy Habits for Busy People is the platform that allows me to share with others my experiences, tips and recommendations for better health.
