Add Fuel to Your Day with BREAKFAST

Why is breakfast often known as the most important meal of the day? It's because your body has been resting and rebuilding during sleep, and it needs fuel when you wake in order to provide you with the energy and nutrients you need to perform your best.

Any food will not do. To be at the top of your game, you need a meal packed with vitamins, protein, and hearty carbohydrates. I'm no nutritionist, but I have tested my body with different meals, and know what works.

Try these breakfast ideas and see how you feel throughout the morning. Remember, portion size is still important. Depending on your size, aim for a portion just a bit larger than your fist.

1. Greek yogurt with granola low in sugar and sliced fruit.

2. Oatmeal mixed with an egg and sliced fruit. Mix it all up and cook it in the microwave.

3. Fresh fruit with peanut butter.

4. Smoothie blended with fruits, vegetables (spinach, kale, and carrots mix well), yogurt, and peanut butter.

Feel free to mix and match ingredients to your liking and add variety to your breakfast. Include a scoop of protein powder for increased muscle growth.
