The ab roller, or ab wheel, is in my opinion the most effective tool to target your core.
Using the ab roller engages all of the core muscle groups, including the abdominal muscles, obliques, and pectorals. It also works the shoulders, back, upper chest, and hip flexors.
There are 5 standard ways to use the ab roller. Follow the examples below for proper form. Try these and your midsection will be sore for sure the next day.
If you don't use an ab roller regularly, don't overdue it or you will be in pain the next day. Start with a few reps and build up.
