Banana FroYo will satisfy your craving for a cold dessert without the fat and added sugar. This recipe adds sweetness for a chocolate peanut buttery flavor.

  • Step 1: put all ingredients into a large blender

  • Step 2: blend until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly

  • Step 3: pour into individual containers (bowls and coffee mugs work great)

  • Step 4: place in freezer for 60 minutes or longer

  • Step 5: enjoy with a spoon

How to make

If you want to eat the froyo immediately, add some ice to the blender for a thicker consistency.
This recipe calls for cacao nibs and peanut butter powder, which mix well with banana and are healthy additives. Feel free to add your own toppings, such as fruit, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, or cinnamon; but beware of the added calories, fat, and sugar with each ingredient. Depending on how long you let it freeze, it can be enjoyed soft or hard.
